I'm new to this server, i joined yesterday for the first time and i loved it...I filled an application form and i am still waiting for it to be reviewed...

In the meantime i am playing on the server as a guest but i can't help but notice that i can't type at all...i read the signs that were at the start that i can only chat in the Guest Chat as long as i am a guest. I tried switching to the Guest Chat with /ch guestchat but that resulted in getting an error message saying "Herochat: Insufficient permission".

Am i doing something wrong or are guests not allowed to talk at all in the guest chat? Kinda doesn't make any sense, does it?

I've seen this error happen before with other people. It's not a stupid question. It's a prefect question about the server, about something that is not going right. I believe I speak for the staff when I say we're sorry for the inconvenience. In no way am I a staff, though. However, your best bet (since you applied yesterday) is to wait one more additional day to be white listed. Then you'll have access to all chats. I would have thought you were default on the guest chat when you logged on, but I guess that is not the case. I tried looking into it some (just by reading signs over to see if you missed anything and trying /ch guestchat myself). You don't seem to have done anything wrong. It is probably just an error.

Some plugin changes/upgrades have resulted in some permissions being not quite right. They are in the process of being fixed. Though your app has been approved, so you should be able to join global now.
