I'd like to confirm this story, as well as expand on it. Now, Pokemon has quit the building contest. I really don't want her to do this all because of one stupid person... and also, I picked up so many items from her when she died, and I would like to return them back. Please help me convince Pokemon to keep building!

I don't like it when people say "blah blah-blah or ban", it's just a really uncivil way of dealing with a usually minor situation. In addition to never actually working since whoever it's being told to will just ignore you since you're a non-mod, they see it as a virtual "I'm gonna tell on you" and it becomes more of a game... They wouldn't return your things out of spite.

TheBadFox, not sure if you know this but stealing of any kind is against the rules. Players need to be respectful to each other, especially in build contests. Poke made a mistake on her build and was fixing it by breaking blocks (to proportion it correctly). Ijarritos, acording to matt and poke, stole items from the build. This is against the rules and is a banable offense. I'm here not proving poke's story or going against, but merely stating the objective side of what the rules say.

I am fully aware of the rules, I'm simply stating that perhaps saying "Give it back or ban" "Leave or ban" or "Blarg omgwtfbbq NO you ban nao" aren't the best ways to deal with any situation... Which is exactly how I've seen things handled many times by players.

At no point was I condoning the actions of the thief.

In this case I have to agree with Fox, saying something like "Give it back or ban" will certainly not make them give it back and is just asking for "You and what army?"

Be sure to take snapshots of all transactions that are done via chat. I have 200 mb of snapshots (like 3000 some odd pictures) just of trades I've made. It's well worth it, as if they don't give the item just post the pictures up and the problem will solve itself. You don't even need to threaten ban.

I dont care anymore... why waste my time on some dumb sculpture its not even good anyway. I suck at building and shouldve never entered.
