Dear Minetown,

I would like to expand the Northgate area to include most of the peninsula (Please see the picture below). I marked the corners with dirt columns and talked with my neighbor Fettuccini and he’s fine with my expansion plans. I opened a PE but only part of the area was protected. If approved I intend on developing peninsula and if all goes well register it as a town.



I would like the Bounds to be (-9620,0,3000) (-9320,127,3400)

Could one of our outstanding Staff make the requested adjustments? I’ll be happy to open another PE but I thought it would make sense to lay out my plans on the forum first for clarity.

My bad Yield, after the petition was closed I went to the Wiki and educated myself further on the nuances of the region command. I didn’t present the bounds of the protection in the proper format and as you said could have included more detail.

Yes, the more info the better! Make use of the /pe log/comment command. If I see additional info attached to a pe I always have a look at it. But based on your pe, this is the steps I took:

• 
  
• warp to the pe open spot
  
• select the existing northgate region
  
• fly to the opposite adjacent corner of the existing region
  
• select that block for the first point
  
• warp back to the pe open spot and select thtat spot as the second
  
• expand vert
  
• redefine northgate
  
• pe close done.
  

If you would have said the opposite adjacent corner was a dirt pillar at some X, Z I would have known exactly what you wanted. Petitions are funny in the way that its hard to word them unless you have actually had to answer one.

Thanks Yield! The confusion was totally my fault not yours. Also thanks for the insight into the PE process above. I think I have enough information to make an attempt at a Wiki article detailing how to submit a Protection PE. Once I have something I'll let you know so you can make any necessary changes.
