Approximately 10 days ago, enchanted items that were placed in chests would lose their enchants if you moved to another chunk, well now it seems as if the problem is now if you use /chest then logout (for a period of time , for me it was 18 hrs) the enchants will disappear (I lost an eff IV unbreaking III d pick and a eff III unbreaking III silk touch d pick). I know this is happening because Minetown is running a dev build of bukkit, so I'm just putting out a warning to all players that can access /chest.

We are looking into having a fix for this made. Currently if you have any enchanted items it is highly recommend that you do not put then into your portable chest as it has the tendency to remove the enchants.

But my vault chest should be fine?

Yes BTechnique, this only applies to the /chest command
