[Enjin Archive] Cannot Connect to Minetown at all! Help!
Started by [E] 300cc2 [1]

Hi.

For some very strange reason I can't connect to minetown at all. I don't know what happend. I got off Minetown yesterday to eat dinner (it was working fine). When I came back, I couldn't connect

at all, I asked my brother if he could and he couldn't. I can get into other servers,(Which are nowear near good as minetown) they working fine. I really want to get back onto Minetown.

Could Someone Please Help Me?!?!

Very off topic: I need my 20$ forum doner badge.
What is the message you're getting when you try to join?

Are you connected to the internet?

I'm joking

But maybe you have the wrong IP, the IP is mc.minetown.net:25565

If that doesn't work try restarting your MC Client
@bubblege0

I tried all the ips, i am connected to the internet: i have the best connection.

Idk What happend

And i did restart the mc client.
Sorry I don't know what you should do then.
Bump^
Your IP is on our firewall. I guess you could have been (accidentally or not) banned for sending weird traffic to the server at the same time of an attack...

I will remove the firewall rule because I feel it's a mistake, but be warned that we monitor traffic and if ever you are running some "hacks", the next time the ban will be permanent.
yeah, im having a similar problem.

My firewall blocked an incoming connection coming from the minetown server

and now i having troubles connecting.

I can connect to other servers but It seems I cant connect to minetown.

Error message: Communication Error.

Look into it?

Ima try a solution, if anyone else wants to they can try.

Open up a window on your desktop.

Like you would by opening up a folder.

Once the window appears, type into the address bar

C:\Users\Home\AppData\Roaming or which ever user you are using.

Right click the .minecraft folder and click on Properties.

Then click on the option: Previous Versions. and Restore the folder

to a previous date. Launch minecraft and update.

Edited:

Problem seems to be solved. Hope this helps everyone else.
