Don't get me wrong, I love the server, but today it's lagging a lot. It probably has something to do with the saving or whatever, but for me, it has been going very slow. I don't think it's my connection because the other servers (obviously not as good as minetown lol) seem to be working okay.

We are still running on a Dev build of bukkit which is what holds the server together. We do upgrade daily and when updates are out we do update.

It's block lag, and the ping is spiking between 250 and 500.

Adried is right, the lag is caused by the pluggins on the server, on the bottom left hand side of your screen you will see a little warning message, read that for a in-depth description of the server lag.
