Minecraft now has a 1.1 update.

Really suggest you update minetown asap, as my MC is running on 1.1 and i got kicked from server for having a 'outdated server' ironic, no?

Either way, this is likely a common issue and personally i would like this resolved as soon as possible, and i reckon many others feel the same way.

Hey guys, I've noticed that if I log on to the server via mincraft.net/play that it seems to work fairly well. MineTown will update when Bukkit comes out with a stable release and the plugins we use are as well updated.

If you want to play on the server then do NOT update, and if you do, make sure to backup your .minecraft folder first so you can switch between 1.0 and 1.1

I'm at the airport on my cellphone atm, as Danny said, we have to wait for bukkit. So you will have to downgrade your clients if you want to play on the server.
