I've tried just about everything i can think of... has anyone been able to get the Cows or Chickens to spawn naturally on there land?

animal spawns are rare now, after the 1.9 update. They did this so that people would be forced to breed. However, this server, for some reason, glitches animal farms in which they despawn.

Is there any other way to get Cows and chickens to my area then?

lure them with wheat then cage and breed them.

my island dont have them is the issue... i could breed if they where here to begin with

You could try buying spawners. Pig spawners are cheep right now, coming off at about 32-64 gb.

I am about to give up on this whole breeding thing. My animals won't stop despawning, and I have wasted 6g+ on more eggs to get baby chickens. This problem only started about about two weeks ago, but now, it won't stop!

I sell chicken eggs at /warp slurthshop You can stock up on them and then go nuts throwing em all over your farm.

Be sure to never throw your entire stock of eggs, if a despawn happens you'll be out of luck. And have to come buy from me again.
