So I recently became a member of MineTown. Truth be told, it's a big server. so I was just wondering where the best spots to start are at?

I built a nice house right by the nether exit out in the middle of nowhere. That's been my base for the past couple of days, but I am beginning to look into towns also. Adelade and Shoreline are very nice, but expensive for new members like us. I have to keep searching before I know where I want to live

Xenith is also a good town, you can warp there by using /warp xenith or you could run/swim/jump as far away from spawn as you can tolerate, set your home there, and live there without communicating with everyone until you have loads of diamonds and then start talking to people... like me.
