DDOS attack. It's on the home page. It'll be back on later. Best bet is to do something else for the next hour or so and let the mods/admins work to get everything restored.

Well, I think we can consider 200+ servers attacking us and our datacenter cutting our connection out being serious.

It should be solved within few hours....

This is the second time that I know of that our server has been attacked. It's nothing to worry about, though. We have a great team for our mods/admins. They'll have this fixed by tomorrow morning for sure. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object> They'll be perma banning all ip's associated with the attack, as well (if they do the same from last time).

wow. this is more than spooky because i seriously had a dream about my project being all messed up and the client crashing and the server going haywire so I woke and wanted to check the map. This is crap. why do people have to do things like this. what do they really gain other than looking like an idiot? Sawine, good luck getting it fixed and i hope this doesnt cramp your holiday too much. what a crappy time to do this.

I don't get why they are doing this, is it a dedicated server, if so what do they wish to gain from this?

How does knocking out minetown for a few hours achieve anything except ruining the devs holidays. Speaking of which thanks to the mods/devs for working on this during the holidays, it's most appreciated.
