[Enjin Archive] New Computer
Started by [E] ObiWanHoshizaki

Just dropped a pretty penny, in Canadian of course just so I can install and use some texture packs some person on mumble told me about. You know who you are.

Anyways just wondered if there was any mods or texture packs that you like to use now that I have the ability since I am not on a laptop I would like to "see" more from the game.

Here is what I have in the way of a computer, what should I be able to run that you like in the way of mods?

Got myself an i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4 GHZ, 16GB ram, 64 bit, NVIDEA GeForce GTX 560 Ti, +64 GB Solid State Hard Drive.

Also importantly to me is what mods can I not run when going on MT, don't want to get in trouble by leaving a mod running that's not allowed.

Thanks,

ObiWanHoshizaki
Nice computer you got there, but if you have a good heatsink, I reccomend overclocking if you know how to. ^^

And whenever i'm able to, I use misa's or LB realism texture pack
Currently downloading the LB, and I will search up misa. Never overclocked a computer before but I do have mumble which helped me on getting mcpatcher and learning how to use it.

Thanks again for the info Natedog.
Almost the exact same buy I got a 2600k and gtx 580
Obi, it was me in mumble a few weeks ago! I am excited for you and finally trying Misa's.

- Fast and Efficient (only 64x64)

- Supports Random Mobs

- Stone and Glowstone are clean and tidy enough to build modern, ritzy buildings (but still good for castles)

- Subtle animations: Stare at a block of gold or diamond, it slightly shimmers. Same with dispensers, noteblocks, etc.

Congrats on your new computer. What an upgrade!
I remember that, sry I didn't remember the name at the time I wrote the message. I love mumble but never have much to say and always feel like a stalker when I don't talk.

I am so glad that I don't have to worry about a java crash anymore with the new computer.

Also I am having fun with video's. Just have to find the time to edit and upload them now.
Nice setup you have there, not on the 2600K, or do you just not want to overclock?

Not that you need to, the setup pc is pretty beast <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

The more GHz the better <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
