Why is minetown so dang laggy. I have a perfect internet connection with full strength and it is still laggy as hell. Is there anything I can do to reduce laggyness?

Im sorry, their is nothing that you can do to fix this. You are not the only one that experiences the lag, and with any luck the plugins that are causing the lag will come out with an update that will fix this.

I know there's nothing we can do about it, but any idea how much longer til it's fixed? I get kicked off frequently from the lag.

No clue all we can do is wait.
