Situation:

Last week i logged in for the first time since 1.9 came out.

I went to my little construction site, i was checkig things out, then when i went under to my chest area, there was sand everywhere, and all but 3 chests ad exploded, i couldnt save much.

in total 18 chest "blew up"

They were protected, nthing could have happened to them, it must have been a glitcc with the new chests

those chests were placed in 1.7

16 stacks of coal

1 chest of redstone

1 stack of goldingots

2 stacks of ironblocks

80 diamonds

32 sticky pistons

1 stack pistons

16 stacks of arrows

and 2 stacks of gunpowder were lost

Yup, two stacks of gunpowder from 1.7, just sitting there... you let it ferment into nitro glycerin, became to unstable, then you made it blow up.

Common problem with old explosives, most people don't know the dangers of leaving dynamite around for long periods of time.
