So I joined Minetown a month ago and I tried accessing shop chests. Gold ignots in my hand, I right click the chest, but it says, "You are not allowed to use this shop chest". The owner (not mentioning any names) says that it should work. Can someone please help me? I am not a guest.

You dont right click on the chest you right click on the sign above it.

Then the chest must not be set up correctly. I have encountered some that don't work.

Try all the stalls and see if they work.
