i was put in jail and i do not no why

You do the crime, you do the time..

Well, I put you in jail along with 3 other people for shady activity in the nether recently.

There was some protected land there. Some people built a walk way over the protected land so they could drop in on top. Another person placed water over the top, which formed obby. Since the rules are not very clear in the nether, I only jailed these people to warn them and get there attention.

Since 1.0 there is reasons to start protecting the land in the nether. There are now reasons to stop griefing and start controlling the area. So this is a polite way to grab your attention without banning you or others. I only gave short jail terms to everone.

Yeah; as of now there is no griefing protected structures in the Nether, or anything that looks like it was built or is being maintained by a player. Eventually I plan to release a new set of rules for the Nether, maybe sometime today actually.
