I just logged on, and i walked for a long time but never could find and trees i could break. Is there a problem with my character? Also, whenever i asked a question, i was ignored except for imthelag, he was the only one who gave me any guidance to what i was supposed to do. I still have nothing, and have no way of building a house. Please help. - Bdufflebag

It depends on whether or not you are a guest. If you are, make an app for membership at: www.minetown.net/join

If you are a member, you need to know that you can only build outside of other peoples protections (unless you are included in them) and find land with no perms, and start punching trees! When you have something built, you can request to get protections on it using /pe open (request)

You would have found out all the information you needed if you had bothered to read the signs at spawn. They would have given you all the guidance you needed.

The only sign i had at spawn were signs telling me where i would like to teleport.
