[Enjin Archive] Just a suggestion... (For Mod Applications)
Started by Unknown User

While I have been signing up to have a chance at being mod, I have realized something. No one replies to them. Now I do not understand who or what decides who the mods are, but I thought it would be nice if someone would simply reply to a mod application, telling them if they were accepted or not.

PLEASE REALIZE: I am not suggesting this just because I have created a mod application and am wanting a response. I want everyone who signs up for a mod to be at peace after they sign up. I could wait 3 weeks still wondering if I was accepted.

I do, however, know how busy sawine/admins are, so I am not pressuring you to reply, I just thought it would be nice.

Thanks for reading this!!! <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object> thumbs me up if ur nice XD
This is not the way the moderator application work, Every now and then ( Month to a couple of months ) as the need arises we will decide to add some new trial mods. When that time comes around we will discuss those who have decided to apply for the position and select those that we believe are the best candidates and give them trial mod status.

Just because you make a moderator application three months ago does not mean that you will not get mod just that we decided not to give your trial mod the last time we implemented new trial mods. Patience is the key as well as being a good productive member of the server. If you want to get mod status you have to earn it, if we have never heard of you or barley see you helping people then there is minimal chance you will get trial mod.

Thanks for your patience and understanding in the matter and good luck in the next trial mod selections.

Sayomie
It's basically a list on which you can put yourself & tell everyone how you roll.

Compare it to an advertisement in a newspaper.

Every now & then, when the need rises, the staff team picks someone from that list based on who they think is best fitted in their team.
The mods and admins decide together and also say their experience with that player, some experiences are good, others are bad.

Also if your mod application gets deleted please do not feel offended, it was either because of the age limit or the thumbs up went into minus. The thumbs up is to show which person members would like/dislike to become trial mod. Deleting application forms is just to keep the thread clean and easier for Sawine to see the candidates which could potentially be trial mods.

If you are one of the people that did get their application form deleted my best advice would be think of more ways to be a productive 'Community' Member then reapply.

I hope this helps x
i always thought it was how many thumbs up/down you got...
Its not just based on thumbs, that just shows what other members think of them which is important to know.

Its also based on what mods and admins experiences are of them, how they display their application form, what they have contributed towards the overall community and how they work with both long term members and newbie guests <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

Someone could be a brilliant person in the community (So have loads of thumbs up) but a right arse to guests, meaning they wouldnt get chosen.

Thats just an example of what we look for.
