When 1.9 comes out there will be two main worlds.

One running on 1.8 and one running on 1.9.

I assume...

There will be a portal between like to event world

Also that you will get a new inventory like the event world.

What I have to ask

Is this all correct.

Why not just have the man world on 1.9

And

Will this mean that most people move to the 1.9 world and the 1.8 world will become unpopular

Both world will be on the lastest Minecraft version.

One is going to be fresh.

You will be able to bring your items from the current world to this world.
