Not sure if this has already been brought up but I think it would be cool to have special tourney events for people who love these things. You could have 12/24 (depending on how long you want this to last) people sign up on forums and break the bracket down into three categories. Stone, Gold, and diamond (which would be the weapons you use). The winner would win the grand prize in the end (gold, diamonds, or a bundle of some sort). This could also be another way to get people to participate and gamble on who wins each round. Not saying this is the greatest idea lol but its one that came to mind seeing how much people love to pvp.

I'd help out if you need. Each round should have a different battle field with obstacles so it takes cunning too. Leave random chests with item pickups (a random piece of armor or a bow with 7 arrows) but all items must be returned after the match as they can't carry onto their next one.

Edit: Make it so the chests make them cornered and in a vulnerable spot (like surrounded by lava on a 1 block long bridge) so if the other player can catch them off guard so it evens it out. You want better equipment? Alright, but if he knows where you are its game over

I think there is currently 3 or 4 spleef arenas around Minetown. I know there is one in spawn and at least a couple others that people have built.

Lol cool. I was starting to get worried no one was liking this xD. Please post more ideas. As soon as things get settled with the server I will either figure out where we can have these tourneys, or set up a sign up thread for anyone who wants to participate in building an arena. Now as far as rewards go, What do y'all think of an entrance fee that goes into the pot? Say we have 12-24 participants who pay 5 gold each and the winner wins the 60-120 gold (+ whatever else is thrown in to make participating more enticing) Also I like your idea Danny. It would definitely make things more interesting.

This is just an idea for any type of Pvp you can think of. I just used Pvp/Spleef cause its the only games I know of so far lmao. We can have tourneys for any kind of Pvp-ish game that everyone enjoys. We can even have one where we throw 12 people in a ring with waves of mobs coming at em and last one standing wins (If it was ok with Mod/Admin/Owner ofc xD). I would definitely go for that lol.

Well I finally said F it and made my own lol. I am looking for anyone who is really good with red stone wire and piston placement. I want to set an environment instead of just having flat land and then be able to change it.
