Hey everyone if you heard about the new mojang ELUA, which is found here -> http://www.minecraftforum.net/ <- they are trying to make everyone have the same features and you cant have them donate for certain perks. It's suppose to happen by August 1st and there trying to cut servers and plugins that do this.

Yes, they did. The new EULA is in effect. All servers must comply by 8/1. Any server(s) that don't can be subject to whatever legal action Mojang deems appropriate.

That being said, it's not the end of the world. It could actually be good, if implemented correctly.

One idea I've been thinking of is a Monthly Donation Goal. If the server reaches this goal, then it unlocks a perk for all users (could be an extra home, a kit, etc.) Donors would still get access to certain commands, or specific tags to designate their status as donors.

I don't think anyone will have to worry about anything being shut down. It still allows some form of bonus for donations and it still allows servers to accept donations.

The main premise of the new EULA is we simply cannot have features that make 1 player more powerful then the other. With regards to donor packages. So we cannot offer items anymore unless its cosmetic with no gameplay altering mechanics. IE no enchanted gear anymore stuff like that.

We're working right now on what changes need to be done. So no worries MT won't be vanishing from the planet earth for a long time.
