[Enjin Archive] MyPet?
Started by [E] ShadowBandit97

I'd like to bring up the subject of the MyPet plugin. Many of the players on the Agharta server had a pet but then the update took them away. Since then we've receved little news or info about the plugin. I and others will like to know if our beloved pets will return or if they are in a better place.
Well...lag has considerably improved since the removal of the plugin....I vote No unless otherwise proven that it would increase lag.
The reason MyPet is currently off is because the last plugin version for our version of Minecraft does not work correctly. Updating the server version would cause considerable more issues than simply leaving this plugin off for now. Once the servers can be updated again without breaking more things, I expect MyPet can be returned. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
Thank you for clearing that up.
It is my opinion that Mypet isn't necessary for Agharta. When we stopped using it we experienced a decrease in lag. We don't have as many people AFK farming to level up their pets. As much as I loved having a little baby mooshroom, or a bat following me around I'd rather be lag freer.

+1 for this. I prefer Agharta without MyPet.

However, it would not particularly bother me if it were added again.
Lag is less without it, but i do miss /pi <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
