It was suggested by a Pearl player that we should have a screen shot contest, we are having one. The contest is open to all MineTown players, here are the rules:

2. Players will be allowed 1 submission (for all categories, only 1 screen capture per category).
   
3. Players may choose from three categories
   
   
   Scenery
   
   Builds
   
   Mobs
   
4. Players may choose more than 1 category, however only 1 submission will be allowed.
   
5. Only 3 images will be allowed in the submission (1 picture per category).
   
6. Coordinates must be included with each picture (either text or a Mini-map in the screen capture)
   
7. Players must state the MT server from which the picture(s) is from
   
8. Images must not be edited in any way other than cropping
   
9. Resource Packs are allowed, but keep in mind if your grass is red and your lava is green this may color the judges view of the image.
   
10. You are allowed to only submit your own screen captures.
    
11. Images must be new screen captures, not from your old store of images.
    
12. Screen captures may be taken from any Minetown server (except creative)
    

FAQ:

1) When does the contest end?

July 4th 2014 7PM EST. You have a month, take your time to get the best pictures you can.

2) Who will judge?

The staff of PearlMC (more MT staff may be invited to judge)

3) How many pictures may I submit?

A maximum of 3 images (1 picture per category) in 1 submission.

4) How many entries may I submit?

One per Player.

5) Why can't I submit images from creative server?

We felt it would be unfair to allow images from players with flying and unlimited blocks to submit images.

6) Am I limited to submitting screen captures of only my builds or claims?

No, can take your screen capture from any where that you can legitimately get on a MT server.

7) What can I win?

Best Scenery ~ 25 Pearls = 5,000 MTC

Best Builds ~ 25 Pearls = 5,000 MTC

Best Mobs ~ 25 Pearls = 5,000 MTC

Best Overall screen capture ~ 50 Pearls = 10,000 MTC

Pearls are one of the forms of currency on the Pearl server. Pearls can be converted to MTC at a rate of 1 Pearl to 200 MTC.

Alright, I guess I've found a few spots I think might be worth entering the contest with.

This is classic server, with the coords being X: -2093 Y: 76 Z: 5021



Mobs:

These guys were fast friends in my village, but the rough area of the picture is located at the coords X: -4939 Y: 63 Z: 13093

Granted now the tree has leaves, and there are a few other trees planted.

I made note specifically of the locations of each, and both resource pack with shaders that I use on a regular basis, so others can see these areas the way I would.
