Greetings!
It has come to my attention that there is a lot of missing information on myPet (seeing as Minetown has changed it around a little bit) that isn't covered on the actual myPet wiki or bukkit page.
One of the things you unlock (at level 60, I do believe) is the ability to have your pet as a portable beacon.
Now, the command /petbeacon opens up the interface, which offers five things to click
'done' which accepts and saves any choices made and exits the interface
'close' which does not save the choices
The option to turn the beacon on or off
The option to make the buffs apply to owner only
The option to make the buffs apply to anyone nearby
Turning the beacon on or off is all well and good but it doesn't actually do anything. No buffs. No optons for buffs. Apparently no commands to select a buff.
Now, from my research it would seem that the interface opened upon typing /petbeacon should actually have, on top of the options above, further items to click, which would allow you to select buffs (for example, say, a pair of boots to signify Jump Boost)>
If anyone has figured out how to get a petbeacon up and running, I would be very grateful for you to share that knowledge.
